Mitchell Creative is a well-established, forward-thinking creative and digital marketing agency based in Townsville. We work with a diverse range of small to medium-sized businesses, organisations and government clients across Queensland and Australia.

We are looking for a Digital Design Trainee / Junior to join our team.

This role would suit someone with 1–2 years' experience in the design industry, or someone who has gained design experience as part of another role and is looking to develop their skills further in a creative agency workplace.

What you'll be doing

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of client projects, including:

- Website design and development

- Graphic design and digital artwork

- Social media graphics and marketing

- SEO and website optimisation

- Google Ads

- Digital marketing campaigns

- Print design and artwork

- Branding and marketing materials

- Creating content for websites and digital campaigns

You won't be expected to know everything from day one. We’ll help you develop your skills across the different areas of digital and print marketing while working on real projects for real clients.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

- Has 1–2 years' experience in graphic, digital or web design or relevant design experience in another role

- Has a good eye for design and attention to detail

- Is comfortable using Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design software

- Has an interest in websites and digital marketing





- Is keen to learn about SEO, Google Ads and social media marketing

- Can work across multiple projects and meet deadlines

- Is organised, reliable and willing to take initiative

- Enjoys working as part of a small, collaborative team

- Is keen to develop a career across digital design and marketing
