Jellyfish Childcare Centre is looking for a passionate, experienced and caring Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our growing team in Quakers Hill.
We are a well-established, family-owned early learning centre that has been caring for children and families in our community for over 18 years. Our centre has achieved an Exceeding National Quality Standard rating, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive team culture, high-quality education and genuine relationships with our children and families.
We are looking for an educator who genuinely loves working with children and wants to become a long-term part of our Jellyfish family.
About the role
You will work closely with our educators, Educational Leader and management team to provide high-quality education and care while helping create a warm, safe and engaging environment for our children.
Your responsibilities will include
- Planning and implementing engaging learning experiences in line with the EYLF
- Building strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Supporting children's individual development, routines and wellbeing
- Completing observations, documentation and learning programs
- Maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment
- Working collaboratively with educators and management
- Supporting the centre in maintaining high standards under the NQF and National Quality Standards
- Contributing ideas and helping continuously improve our educational program
- Providing nurturing and responsive care to children throughout the day
About you The successful applicant will have:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-recognised equivalent
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Current Child Protection training
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
- A professional, reliable and positive attitude
- Experience working within an early childhood service
