Diploma Educator - Team Leader

Permanent Position | Flexible 4 or 5 Days per Week

Berri Regional Child Care Centre is a community-run long day care service committed to providing high-quality education and care for children and families in the heart of Berri. We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and passionate Diploma-qualified educator to join our team as Team Leader in our Platypus Room, caring for children aged 18 months to 2 years and 7 months.

This is an exciting opportunity for an educator committed to providing high-quality care and education, fostering strong relationships with children and families, and leading a team in a supportive, collaborative environment.

About the Role

As Team Leader, you will:

- Lead the daily operation of the Platypus Room.
- Create and implement engaging learning experiences that support children's development and wellbeing.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Mentor and support team members.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and centre policies.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and collaborative team culture.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR,



Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) certificate.
- Completion of Child Safe Environments Foundations Training.
- Completion of Advanced Child Safety Training.
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning, development and wellbeing.
