St John's Lutheran Kindergarten in Bundaberg is excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Diploma Qualified Educator (or Educator actively working towards a Diploma qualification) to join our wonderful Kindergarten team on a part-time basis, with a minimum of 15 hours per week.

✨ Your Responsibilities

As an Educator at St John's Lutheran Kindergarten, you will:

- Actively supervise and engage children in a range of indoor and outdoor experiences that promote learning, development, and wellbeing.
- Create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where children can play, explore, and develop new skills.
- Deliver educational programs tailored to the ages, interests, and developmental needs of children, in line with the National Quality Framework.
- Undertake programming, planning, and documentation to support children's learning and development.
- Foster positive and respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider school community.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming learning environment.

✅ What We're Looking For

- Diploma in Children's Services,



Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively working towards the qualification or an equivalent).
- Experience working in an early learning setting (preferred).
- Availability to work Monday to Friday between 7:15am to 5:30pm.
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Current Blue Card.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
- A commitment to nurturing children's growth and development socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually.
- A willingness to support the Christian ethos of our service.
- Completion of the relevant Child Protection Training as required under Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law.
- Food Handling experience (desirable but not essential).
