Details: An opportunity is available within the Data and Digitalisation Branch, which supports Canberra Institute of Technology's digital and technology environment through the delivery and support of enterprise applications, technology services, digital platforms and data-driven decision making. The branch plays a key role in enabling student, teaching and business services across CIT and is responsible for supporting the organisation's critical technology systems and digital initiatives.

The Director, Technology Operations role provides leadership across Technology Operations, including operational service delivery, enterprise applications, incident management, workforce leadership, vendor management and technology governance.

The opportunity is available for an initial period of three months, with the possibility of extension, subject to operational requirements.

Eligibility/Other requirements: To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

- Demonstrate experience in leading technology, operational service delivery or ICT functions within a complex environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and manage teams, priorities and operational workloads.
- Demonstrate experience in stakeholder engagement and building effective working relationships across business and technical areas.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage operational risks, incidents, service delivery and competing priorities.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills,



including the ability to prepare executive briefings, reports and recommendations.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively, make sound decisions and achieve outcomes in a fast-paced workplace.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of three months with the possibility of extension up to six months. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
