We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced female Support Worker to provide one-on-one support for a lovely lady living in the Ringwood who loves Art and crafts.

Monday's - 9am-4pm to take her to a community knitting class. There will also be extra shifts needed for Medical appointments and other activities she may want to do.

The successful applicants will help her with community access, helping her find some other community activities she enjoys and help her build confidence, independence, routine and meaningful community participation. Assist with appointments, daily living activities, and provide respectful, compassionate support that promotes independence and wellbeing.

Essential requirements

- Relevant disability support qualifications (Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent).
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check (if applicable).
- Current driver’s licence and a large SUV or suitable vehicle capable of transporting a wheelchair.
- Comprehensive car insurance and reliable transport.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a person-centred approach.
