We are looking for a caring, reliable and experienced female Disability Support Worker to join our team and provide ongoing support to a female NDIS participant in Gosnells.

The primary responsibility of this role is providing personal care support to an NDIS participant who is a wheelchair user.

This includes assisting with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, toileting and other personal care needs.

The role will involve working alongside other support workers to provide safe and consistent care. Support workers will be required to use a hoist and other manual handling equipment, so confidence and experience with hoist transfers and safe manual handling are essential.

The role may also involve supporting the participant with daily living activities, domestic assistance, meal preparation, transport and community access, as well as other supports outlined in the participant’s NDIS plan.

We are currently looking for workers who are available for a range of shifts, including day shifts, evening shifts and inactive overnight/sleepover shifts.

While this position is primarily supporting a participant in Gosnells, suitable workers may also be offered additional shifts with other NDIS participants, depending on availability, location, suitability and client needs.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $34.44 – $48.00 per hour
