Key responsibilities

- Offering physical assistance, such as assistance with domestic activities and personal care

- Support to attend medical appointments

- Encourage and enhance the growth of individual skills and interests through interests and activities

- Support participants with everyday skills such as purchasing, public transportation, and bill payment

- Ensure that all participant medical needs are addressed and documented

- Arriving to your shift by the allocated time and clocking in and out of the shift via the V-Worker app

- Ensuring participant notes are submitted via the V-Worker app for every shift

- Report and document incident/accidents, changes in care needs or behaviours to Care Manager





- Adhere to WH&S; policies and procedures and report any hazards

- Behave in a professional manner at all times

About you

- NDIS Workers Screening Check

- Working with Children's Check

- Apply First Aid/CPR

- NDIS Orientation Module

- Infection Control Module

- Previous experience in a similar role – preferably a minimum of 6 months relevant experience

- Previous experience supporting People with Disability

- Knowledge of Disability Service Standards

- Customer service focused with ability to provide exceptional customer service

- Transparent and concise communication skills, varying communication style depending upon the audience
