We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide individual support to a participant in Wyong. The role focuses on building independent living skills, maintaining a daily routine, attending appointments and participating in community activities.

The successful applicant will provide clear, patient guidance while respecting the participant’s choices and encouraging independence. Experience supporting people with psychosocial disability is significant for this role.

Key responsibilities

- Support the participant to develop and practise daily living skills
- Assist with planning and maintaining a daily routine
- Provide support to attend appointments and access the community
- Communicate clearly and use a calm, respectful approach




- Maintain professional boundaries and complete required shift documentation

Requirements

- Experience supporting people with psychosocial disability
- Current NDIS Worker Check
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable car
- Availability for a 9:00 am–12:00 pm shift
- Reliable attendance and clear communication

The participant has expressed a preference for a male support worker.
