About the role

As a Disability Support Worker at GCCL, you'll have the opportunity to really get to know the people you support and become part of a consistent team around them. Depending on the participant, your role may include daily living and personal support, community access and social participation, supporting independence and skill development, appointments and activities, meal preparation and household tasks, complex disability and health-related support, following individual support and health care plans, positive behaviour support, working alongside families and allied health professionals, building genuine respectful relationships, and completing shift notes and documentation.

About you

- Committed to professional boundaries
- Willing to learn and develop
- Minimum 2 years' disability sector experience
- Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or related field
- NDIS Worker Screening Check / Blue Card as applicable
- First Aid & CPR
- Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
