About the role

Seashine Care is a Registered NDIS provider seeking 2 reliable support workers to support a female participant aged 46 in Morayfield across a 24/7 SIL environment. You will be supporting a participant who lives with cerebral palsy and intellectual disability, and who has a current Positive Behaviour Support Plan in place, to maintain independence in their home and access the community and/or appointments as required.

Specifically we require

- 1 x Support Worker for Wednesday weekly 8-4pm and 1 Sunday per fortnight 4-8pm. These are community access shifts.

- 1 x Support Worker to undertake inactive overnight shifts starting at either 3 or 4 pm and finishing at 8-8.30am depending on the day.

Key responsibilities

- Support our participant to maintain independence in the home

- Support our participant to access the community and/or appointments as required

- Follow and implement a Positive Behaviour Support Plan

- Provide person-centred supports





- Follow compliance and reporting requirements

About you

- Experience working in SIL or disability support

- Experience following and implementing a PBSP plan

- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach

- Positive communication skills and, the ability to work well as part of a team

- Is reliable and can work well independently

- First Aid and CPR

- NDIS Screening Card

- NDIS Orientation Module Certificate

- Fully comprehensively insured vehicle for access to the community with participant

- Vehicle Registration

- QLD Driver's Licence
