About the role

Strive to Thrive Support Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Mount Isa, QLD. This is a permanent part-time role with a minimum of 15 hours per week, with additional hours depending on participant needs and availability.

Key responsibilities

- Community access support

- Daily living support

- Transport to appointments and activities

- Household tasks

- Supporting participant goals

- Completing explicit shift notes

- Communicating with participants, families and staff

About you

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or similar

- Previous disability support experience

- First Aid and CPR certification

- NDIS Worker Screening clearance or ability to obtain one

- Current driver licence

- Reliable transport

- Good communication skills
