Teuila is a family-centered registered NDIS disability service, providing care and tailored support plans for people living with a disability under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). With over 25 years of combined experience across the disability, health, education, and community sectors, we strive to deliver excellent, integrated care for the people and families we are responsible for. About your role

As a disability support worker, you will

- Build positive and meaningful relationships with participants and their families.
- Provide one-on-one support to NDIS participants in their homes or in the community.
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Assist with medication and mobility support.
- Promote independence and skill development.
- Collaborate with the participant's multidisciplinary team.
- Document and report on participant progress and goals.
- Work autonomously and a part of a small team.

Selection criteria

- Compassionate and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.




- Demonstrated skills and experience as a support worker is required
- Certificate III Individual support, mental health, aged care, community services or disability support is required (or willing to obtain)
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
- Working with children check (or willing to obtain).
- National police check (or willing to obtain).
- Valid Driver's license and registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Evidence of right to work in Australia.
