Residential Attitudes is seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our design and pre-construction team, delivering innovative and personality-packed homes across Western Australia. About the Role

- Produce preliminary, planning, working and pre-start drawings for residential homes.
- Prepare accurate and compliant documentation for contract, council and developer approval submissions.
- Interpret client requirements, design intent and construction information to deliver practical drafting solutions.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, surveyors, engineers, energy assessors and external authorities.
- Review and amend working drawings to accommodate variations, compliance requirements and design improvements.
- Ensure all documentation complies with NCC requirements, R-Codes, local authority policies and developer guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Design, Estimating and Operations teams to achieve pre-construction timeframes.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout all stages of drafting documentation.

About You

Essential





- Demonstrated experience as a Draftsperson within the WA residential building industry.
- Experience preparing working drawings for single and/or double-storey homes.
- Robust knowledge of NCC requirements, R-Codes and residential construction methods.
- Proficiency in residential drafting software and CAD systems.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Positive, collaborative and team-oriented approach.

Highly Regarded

- Experience drafting custom homes and complex infill developments.
- Experience drafting double-storey custom homes.
- Understanding of local government approval processes.
- Experience working with developer design guidelines and estate covenants.
- Experience with ArchiCAD and/or AutoCAD.
- Relevant drafting, design or construction qualification.
