About the role

Haines Bros Earthmoving is seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Operator to join our team in Shellharbour NSW on a full-time basis. As a Dump Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and effective transportation of materials across various construction and earthmoving sites.

What you'll be doing

- Operating dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials across construction and earthmoving sites
- Conducting pre-operation vehicle inspections and reporting any mechanical issues or defects promptly
- Adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols whilst operating heavy vehicles
- Loading and unloading materials in accordance with weight restrictions and safety guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records of fuel consumption, mileage and delivery documentation
- Communicating effectively with site supervisors, equipment operators and other team members





What we're looking for

- Experience operating dump trucks in construction or earthmoving environments
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and site safety protocols relevant to the construction industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions from site supervisors
