Employment: Full-Time

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 + superannuation, depending on experience

Reports to: Venue Manager / Owners

About the Role

Rockshore Bar & Bistro is looking for an experienced, reliable and hands-on Duty Manager to join our team at our busy beachside venue on the Rockingham Foreshore.

This is a hands-on management position. You will be responsible for running shifts, supervising the Front of House and bar teams, maintaining excellent customer service and ensuring the venue operates smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily Front of House and bar operations
- Lead the team during service and actively assist during busy periods
- Coordinate staff sections, duties, breaks and service flow
- Maintain high standards of customer service
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and effective service
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Assist with POS, cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control
- Train, support and guide FOH and bar team members
- Ensure RSA, workplace safety and venue procedures are followed




- Maintain venue cleanliness, presentation and service standards
- Report operational, staffing or maintenance issues to management
- Take responsibility for the venue during allocated Duty Manager shifts

What We’re Looking For
- Previous hospitality supervisory or management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Confident managing a team in a fast-paced restaurant/bar environment
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, organised and able to take responsibility for a shift
- Hands-on attitude and willingness to assist the team wherever required
- Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required
- Current RSA
- Approved Manager accreditation, or ability to obtain it, where required
