As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the venue and ensuring our members and guests receive a consistently high standard of service. You will work closely with the General Manager and management team while providing leadership and support to staff across the venue.
Key responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day venue operations
- Leading, supporting and supervising staff during shifts
- Ensuring excellent customer service across all areas
- Managing busy restaurant, bar and gaming operations
- Responding professionally to customer enquiries and complaints
- Ensuring compliance with liquor, gaming, WHS and venue policies
- Managing cash handling, opening and closing procedures
- Supporting staff training and maintaining service standards
- Assisting with rostering and operational requirements when required
- Leading by example and maintaining a positive team culture
About you
- Previous Duty Manager or hospitality management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience working in a busy hospitality environment
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Current RSA
- Current RSG
- Knowledge of liquor and gaming compliance
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during busy periods
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to support the team wherever required
