We are seeking an Early Career Planning Lawyer (0-3 Years Post Admission Experience) to join our highly regarded Planning & Environment team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an early career lawyer looking to develop specialist expertise while working alongside experienced Principals and senior lawyers on some of Tasmania's most significant planning, development, environmental and local government matters.

Working closely with clients, developers, consultants, government authorities and community stakeholders, you will play a hands-on role in matters that help shape Tasmania's future.

What You'll Do

As part of our team, you will be involved in a diverse range of matters, including:

- Planning and development approvals
- Land use and environmental matters
- Local government law
- Environmental law
- Property and development projects
- Administrative and regulatory matters
- Tribunal and court proceedings where required
- Client advisory and drafting work

About You

You will

- Be admitted, or eligible for admission, as a legal practitioner in Australia.
- Have between 0 and 3 years' post-admission experience.
- Possess strong communication, drafting and analytical skills.
- Have a genuine interest in planning, development, environmental, property or local government law.
- Be enthusiastic, commercially minded and eager to learn.
- Enjoy working collaboratively and building strong professional relationships.
