Jellyfish Childcare Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Early Childhood Educator Trainee to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to begin a career in early childhood education while completing their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Jellyfish is a well-established, family-owned childcare centre that has been supporting children and families in the Quakers Hill community for over 18 years. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality education and care within a friendly, supportive and professional setting.

No previous childcare experience is required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, a genuine love for working with children and a willingness to learn.

About the role

As a trainee educator, you will work alongside our experienced educators while completing your nationally recognised early childhood qualification.

Your responsibilities will include

- Supporting educators with children's daily routines and learning experiences
- Building warm and positive relationships with children
- Helping create fun, engaging and educational activities
- Assisting with meals, sleep, hygiene and care routines
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment
- Learning about the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Working collaboratively with educators and management
- Completing your Certificate III training and assessments
- Participating in professional development and team meetings
- Communicating positively with children,



families and other educators

About you We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with children
- Is enthusiastic, caring and patient
- Is reliable and punctual
- Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Works well as part of a team
- Has good communication skills
- Is willing to complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Holds or is willing to obtain a Working With Children Check
- Is committed to building a long-term career in early childhood education
