The Role

Standby Power Services Pty Ltd is looking for a curious, motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join our team.

This is a great opportunity to learn your trade in a hands-on workshop environment, working with a wide range of electrical and industrial equipment.

No two days are the same. You’ll gain experience diagnosing, repairing, servicing and testing equipment including:

- ⚡ Generators

- ? Welding equipment

- ?️ Power tools

- ? Electrical equipment and systems

- And a wide range of other industrial equipment

You'll work alongside an experienced team who will support you throughout your apprenticeship while you develop the practical skills and knowledge required to become a qualified electrician.

The Apprenticeship

This is a 4-year electrical apprenticeship, combining on-the-job training with formal training and study.

What You'll Need To succeed in this role, you'll need:

- A positive attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

- Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in how things work




- An interest in electrical equipment, maintenance and fault finding

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A qualified attitude and presentation
- A current manual driver's licence and reliable transport
- A commitment to completing all formal training and apprenticeship requirements

School leavers with an interest in electrical work, industrial equipment and hands-on problem solving are encouraged to apply.
