Just finished your apprenticeship and wondering what's next? Neltek is looking for a newly qualified sparky to join our growing team and take the next step in their career with us.

We're a close-knit crew working across residential and commercial throughout South-East Queensland. Our team is supportive, the work is varied, and we're serious about helping good people grow. We specialise in all electrical, solar, air-conditioning and battery aspects.

We know going from apprentice to running your own jobs is a big change. You won't be thrown in the deep end. Our experienced team will be there to back you while you build your confidence and get comfortable taking on jobs yourself.

What the role looks like

Most of your work will be residential maintenance: fault-finding, repairs, servicing and general electrical work. You'll work independantly and with the team to run your own jobs, with the team there to support you as you settle in and gain confidence.

You'll also get to

- Work alongside our other qualified tradespeople on larger projects
- Help train and mentor our apprentices, passing on what you've learned
- Build your skills and responsibilities as you move up through the business

About you

We care more about attitude than years on the tools. We're after someone who:
- Has a least recently finished their apprenticeship and holds a current Queensland Electrical Licence
- Has a current driver's licence
- Has a good attitude and wants to work as part of a team
- Is reliable, keen to learn and takes pride in their work
- Wants to grow their career and take on more responsibility over time
- Is ready to start straight away is ideal but willing to wait for the right person
