Act Now Energy is growing, and we’re looking for qualified electricians to join our metering team. Whether you already have metering experience or you’re looking to move into something new, we’d love to hear from you. Metering experience is highly regarded, but it’s definitely not essential. We provide comprehensive training, ongoing support and a clear pathway to build your skills and develop your career.

And if the standard Monday to Friday setup doesn’t quite work for you, that’s okay too.

What You’ll Do

- Install, replace, test and maintain electrical metering equipment
- Complete smart meter upgrades and associated electrical work
- Travel to residential and commercial sites across South East Queensland
- Follow industry procedures and maintain high safety and quality standards
- Complete job documentation using an iPad
- Provide great customer service while representing Act Now Energy
- Occasionally undertake regional work when required

What We’re Looking For

- Qualified Electrician with a current QLD Electrical Licence




- Metering experience preferred, but not essential
- Interest in developing your skills within the metering industry
- Willingness to undertake training and additional qualifications
- Current QLD Driver Licence
- CPR/LVR certification, or willingness to obtain
- White Card, or willingness to obtain
- Own basic tools; specialised equipment is provided
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of the team
- Australian working rights
