Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Queensland, Australia. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment used in telecommunication infrastructure and associated construction projects. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring and cabling, performing scheduled and reactive maintenance, and diagnosing and resolving electrical faults.

The role also involves testing and commissioning electrical installations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations, and completing documentation and reports. The Electrician will collaborate with project managers,



rigging and civil teams, and technical staff to support timely and high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong practical skills in electricity, air-conditioning and electrical work, with the ability to work safely on live and de-energized systems.
- QTP licence
- Experience in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and installations.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles relevant to telecommunication and construction environments.
- Valid Australian electrician license and demonstrated understanding of Australian electrical standards and regulations.
- Proven commitment to workplace health and safety, including use of PPE and adherence to safe work procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Current driver’s license and willingness to travel to different sites within Queensland as required.
- Previous experience in telecommunications, construction, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
