As an Electronics Technician Nuclear Submariner, your duties may include operating and maintaining electronic systems associated with the propulsion plant, including:

- Reactor control

- Protection and alarm system

- Primary plant instrumentation

- Nuclear instrumentation

Salary: Competitive Salary + Generous Superannuation of 16.4%

Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, you’ll enjoy a salary package starting from $120,514 per year.

Period of Service requirements:

General Entry Sailor roles now have an Initial Minimum Period of Service (IMPS) between 2 and 3 years for all applicants.

- For this role, you must be at least 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen, and have passes in Year 12 English and Maths.
