About the Role:

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and helping people navigate their study options? Join Curtin’s Centre of Enabling Pathways (CEP) and play an important role in supporting students as they begin their journey into higher education.

As an Enabling Pathways Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for current and prospective students, providing clear, accurate and supportive advice across a range of enquiries. You’ll help students understand entry requirements, explore pathway options and navigate key steps including applications, offers, enrolment and class registration.

Your responsibilities will include:

Working across in-person, phone and online channels, you will provide personalised support while managing a high volume of enquiries and administrative activities. You’ll use your knowledge of Curtin’s courses, systems and processes to resolve enquiries, identify when students need additional support and connect them with the right services.

- Coordinating the admissions lifecycle from application assessment through to outcomes, offers and applicant progression.
- Providing advice on enabling programs and alternative pathways for students who do not meet direct entry requirements.
- Generating accurate Letters of Offer and supporting enrolment and class registration processes.
- Maintaining accurate student records across CRM, student management and other University systems.
- Supporting compliance with government eCAF requirements.
- Providing guidance and support across Curtin systems including OASIS, eStudent, LMS, Turnitin and examination software.
- Triaging and escalating complex enquiries to the appropriate area when required.
- Identifying students who may require additional support and connecting them with relevant University services.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the student experience and improve CEP processes.

Who We Are Looking For: You are a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping people and can confidently manage a busy and diverse workload. You’ll bring excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to quickly understand and apply policies, processes and systems.

1. Experience delivering high-quality customer service, ideally in education,



admissions or student services.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear, supportive advice to diverse customers.
3. Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Ability to manage high-volume enquiries, prioritise competing demands and resolve or escalate issues appropriately.
5. Confidence learning and navigating multiple systems and processes.
6. A proactive approach to improving processes and the student experience.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across the University.

Role Requirements:

1. As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
2. Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction
3. This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check

Centre for Enabling Pathways The Centre for Enabling Pathways has UniReady Enabling Program as the main flagship program with a growing suite of different deliveries and pathway options for students. The UniReady Enabling Program has been running since 2010 and has a long history of success in helping students obtain their pathway to Higher Education. It is offered in a wide variety of modes and locations including Curtin Campus (Bentley and Kalgoorlie), high schools and Prisons. This Continuous G05 role attracts a generous remuneration of $85,781 - $93,836 + 17% superannuation.
