Looking for Enterprise Architect - Brisbane Onsite/Hybrid - 8 Months Contract Your New Company: Hays is partnering with QLD State Government to appoint an experienced Enterprise Architect to support a complex enterprise technology environment.

This is an opportunity to contribute to large-scale digital transformation initiatives and help shape enterprise architecture strategy, governance and technology outcomes across business-critical platforms. The environment includes major enterprise applications spanning SAP S/4HANA Finance, workforce management, payroll and SuccessFactors solutions.

Your New Role: As the Enterprise Architect, you will lead the development, design and implementation of enterprise architecture to support major digitally enabled business change, technology planning and investment decisions.

Your key responsibilities will include: Lead the development and implementation of Target State Enterprise Architecture, Domain Enterprise Architecture, Integration Architecture frameworks, strategies, roadmaps and governance.

Develop target-state architectures and architecture plans across multiple complex systems and interfaces.

Provide enterprise architecture leadership across SAP S/4HANA Finance environments and major SAP upgrade initiatives.

Lead the development, assurance and approval of Solution Architecture Documents (SADs) and associated design artefacts.

Provide architectural direction and design assurance across SAP upgrade activities, including SAP standard functionality, custom applications and code, security roles, authorisations, interfaces and integrations.





Guide solution and technical specialists in developing end-to-end architectures across business, information, application, integration, technology and security domains.

What you will need to succeed: Demonstrated experience leading Enterprise Architecture for large and complex ICT transformation programs.

Strong experience developing current-state and future-state architectures, transition states, roadmaps and implementation recommendations.

Demonstrated enterprise and solution architecture experience within SAP S/4HANA environments, including SAP S/4HANA Finance.

Experience with RISE with SAP / Private Cloud Edition (PCE) architectures.

Experience delivering major SAP version upgrades or platform migrations, including impact assessments, custom-code remediation, integration remediation and architecture assurance.

Solid understanding of architecture across business capabilities, operating models, data and information, applications, integrations, infrastructure, cybersecurity and service management.
