About the role

You will support the delivery of environmental and ecological projects, including conducting fieldwork such as ecological surveys, habitat assessments, and biodiversity monitoring, assisting with fauna management and compliance requirements, undertaking desktop research and reviewing environmental data, supporting the preparation of environmental reports, approvals, and documentation, and GIS mapping and spatial data management. The role includes regular fieldwork, including travel to regional and remote locations. Expect a mix of field and office work depending on project requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting fieldwork such as ecological surveys, habitat assessments, and biodiversity monitoring

- Assisting with fauna management and compliance requirements

- Undertaking desktop research and reviewing environmental data

- GIS mapping and spatial data management

About you

- Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology or related discipline (essential)

- 0–3 years' experience (graduates encouraged to apply)

- Strong written and verbal communication skills





- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

- Current Driver's Licence (essential)

- Construction Induction - White Card (essential)

- Physically fit and capable of fieldwork in varying conditions

- Adaptable and willing to travel and work away from home when required

- Willing to learn and take on new challenges

- Reliable, practical, and team-oriented
