Details: The Emergency Services Agency (ESA) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Training Management System (TMS) Data Analyst to support the implementation of a new Training Management System. If you have strong data management skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience working with large datasets in a project environment, this role provides an excellent opportunity to support a key workforce capability initiative within the ESA.

Reporting to and operating under the general direction of the Assistant Director, Strategic Training Projects, the TMS Data Analyst will collaborate closely with the ESA Training team to prepare and validate and cleanse existing training data for migration to the ESA’s new Training Management System. This includes data associated with nationally recognised training, internal professional development programs, and other operational training activities, ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and readiness for successful system implementation.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant organisational initiative that will improve the management, accessibility and reporting of training information across the ESA. The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring the quality, accuracy and integrity of both historical and current training data, supporting a seamless transition to the new system. they will help establish a reliable foundation for future training management, reporting, and compliance activities across the organisation.

Eligibility/Other requirements:

- Tertiary qualifications in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field are highly desirable
- Experience in working with different software platforms, or a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to current software environments quickly.
- To be eligible for permanent or temporary employment within the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident or hold a valid work visa.
- If an officer no longer holds a visa that permits them to work in Australia, their employment with the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) will be terminated.
- Driver’s license C class is highly desirable.
- This position does not require a pre-employment medical




- This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 17 December 2027. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
