About the Opportunity

Are you an Estimator looking to work close to home on the Central Coast?

Do you have a residential or subcontract background looking to step into commercial Estimating?

This is a permanent, ongoing role on the Central Coast.

Key Responsibilities

- First-Principles Estimating: Prepare detailed, accurate first-principles cost estimates, bill of quantities (BOQ), and tenders for commercial projects up to $10M.
- Subcontractor Engagement: Issue tender packages, review trade quotes, perform scope gap analysis, and negotiate competitive trade pricing.
- Tender Submissions & Value Engineering: Attend client pre-tender meetings, identify potential project risks and value-engineering opportunities, and compile final bid submissions.
- Handover & Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Contracts Administrators,



and Site Managers to facilitate seamless project handovers upon tender win.

What We Are Looking For

- Proven Experience: Estimating experience within commercial or residential construction
- Technical Background: Qualified trade background (Carpentry/Building) or a Qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management.
- Software & Detail Focus: Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Buildsoft, Cubit, Cost, or Excel) with sharp analytical skills and local subbie networks.
