BBFF is looking for an experienced events person (or 2) to join the team for our 20th edition this October.

We’re looking for someone highly organised, practical and calm under pressure who can help coordinate the many moving parts of a busy 10-day international film festival across Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers.

This is a hands-on role working closely with the Festival Directors and the wider BBFF team across festival operations, venues, suppliers, contractors, filmmakers and guests, staffing and volunteers, screenings and special events, including our Opening Night.

You’ll need robust event-production and organisational skills, confidence working with multiple stakeholders and the ability to solve problems quickly when plans change. Experience in festivals,



cultural events, hospitality, venues or live events would all be relevant.

Knowledge of Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers events environment would be a strong advantage.
