Position: Exercise: Exercise Advisor/Member Services

Status: Permanent Part-time 15 – 25hrs For more than 27 years, Health Mates Fitness Centre, proudly operated by Revesby Workers' Club, has been helping our community live healthier, happier and more active lives. As one of the area's largest and most established fitness centres, we're passionate about creating an environment where members feel motivated, supported and inspired to achieve their goals.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and people-focused Exercise Advisor / Member Services Consultant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building genuine connections, delivering exceptional member experiences and making a positive impact every day.

In this diverse and rewarding role, you'll be out on the gym floor providing exercise advice, designing tailored programs, supporting member journeys and helping create a safe, welcoming and energising fitness environment. No two days are the same, and you'll be surrounded by a team that is passionate about health, wellbeing and community.

For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to further develop your career through involvement in our Personal Training and Group Exercise programs.

The Ideal candidate will be:

- A passionate people focused person.
- Keen to work in a lively workplace which requires multi-tasking; promoting and being involved in events/programs/challenges, assisting members achieve their health goals, providing exercise programs/fitness appraisals,



maintaining a clean and tidy facility and reception duties including but not limited to answering the phone, administration tasks, membership sales and cash handling.
- A quick thinker with a professional and positive attitude who is motivated to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Competent with technology; apps, point of sale and membership enquiries.
- Someone who practices and encourages a healthy lifestyle.
- Ready to work 15+ hours per week, with flexibility to work various days/times. Shifts include a variety of early mornings (5am starts), nights (9pm closes) and weekends (7am – 7pm).

Essential Qualifications:

- Certificate IV in Fitness
- Current Senior First Aid and CPR
- AUSactive Registered professional
- Working with Children Check
- Children & older adults trained

Desirables:

- Human Movement/Exercise/Sports Science Degree or Diploma of Fitness
- NSW Driver Licence
