We're looking for experienced roofers from New Zealand to join our team in Brisbane for a 3 to 6-month period, replacing roofs damaged by hail. This is a excellent opportunity for an experienced roofer who wants to spend a period of working in Australia while maintaining regular time back home in New Zealand.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the removal and replacement of hail-damaged roofs across Brisbane.
- Carry out roofing installation and replacement work under the direction of qualified or senior team members.
- Assist with installation of metal roofing, flashings, fascia and guttering, where experienced to do so.
- Prepare roofing areas, materials and equipment for installation.
- Work productively as part of a roofing crew to keep projects progressing.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality workmanship and site safety.
- Keep work areas clean, organised and safe.
- Follow instructions and contribute positively to the wider roofing team.
About you
- Previous hands-on roofing experience
- Experience with roof replacement and/or installation
- Good practical roofing knowledge
- Quality-focused workmanship
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Reliable and able to work effectively within a team
- Willingness to work away from home on a 3-week rotation
- Valid passport and visa entitling you to work in Australia
