Role Description The Experiences Curator is a full time, on-site role based in Melbourne. This role is responsible for designing, refining, and documenting walking tour experiences that align with Depot Adventures’ brand and guest expectations. Day-to-day work includes researching local history, neighborhoods, venues, and attractions; developing engaging tour routes and narratives; and collaborating with guides to test and improve tour content.

The Experiences

Curator coordinates logistics with partners and venues, gathers and analyzes guest feedback, and iterates on tour offerings to enhance quality and consistency.



This role also supports marketing and operations by providing clear experience descriptions, materials, and updates that help the team deliver exceptional tours.

Qualifications

- Experience as a host - this can take many froms, from bartender to the head of your kids' Parent's Club - we're looking for folks who have no issue putting themselves out there as the extroverted bundles of energy for our guests
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with guides, partners, and internal teams.
- Organizational and planning skills to manage multiple tours, schedules, and logistical details in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfort with collecting, interpreting, and applying guest feedback and data to improve experiences.
- Strong interest in Melbourne’s history, culture, food, and neighborhoods.
- Ability to work on-site in Melbourne, VIC
- If you're going to write to us saying that you love telling your friends about Melbourne's history, this is probably not the job for you. We want someone who is an excellent host, someone who loves the chemistry of who to invite to a dinner party, and someone who's as valuable at listening as they are at speaking. This is not a historical tour guide role, although we will teach you the things to share about Melbourne. The emphasis for the successful candidate will be on their ability to be an effusive, friendly, local mate for all of our guests.
