Applications are being sought internally for a permanent Traffic Officer / Cane Rail Labourer. This role is based at the Inkerman Operations Centre, located at Inkerman Mill in the Burdekin Region.

During the Crush this position operates on a continuous rotating shift roster, which may include weekends and occasional overtime. The role then switches to a day work schedule during the maintenance.

The following criteria will be used in the selection process:

- Demonstrate a valuable understanding of rail transport operations.
- Be able to work safely and look after the safety of others.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Be able to provide regular and accurate feedback on the operation's performance.
- Be adaptable to and support ongoing change.
- Have intermediate level of computer skills.




- Hold a manual 'C' class driver's licence.

Essential Criteria The successful applicant will have a proven high standard of attendance and punctuality as well as the ability to work effectively as a member of a small productive team.
