Offline CNC Programmer (Mastercam)

Due to further company growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mastercam offline programmer to join our CADCAM team.

About the role The role will be to provide support in a range of duties to help the smooth operation of our manufacturing departments.

- Generate accurate, high quality, and timely programs using Mastercam for 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centres.
- Generate workshop documentation, setup sheets, and process instructions.
- Design, model, and program fixturing requirements.
- Working closely with management, engineers, and machine operators to provide and take feedback on all aspects of production.
- Research, understand and introduce recent tooling, fixturing, and programming techniques.
- Help drive a culture of continuous improvement.

About You We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic team player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Who is also –

- Familiar with all aspects of Mastercam, toolpaths, design, simulation, machine building, post maintenance etc.
- Fully trade qualified.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office software for shopfloor documentation.
- Familiarity with Solidworks and using ERP systems would be an advantage.
- 3D fixture design

Salary will be based on experience, with super and overtime. CNC Machinist – Day and Afternoon Shifts Available

Naeco is a high-tech manufacturer based in Brisbane’s Bay side suburb of Capalaba.

Naeco specialises in the design and manufacture of cold plates, cooling systems and heat exchangers for some of the most demanding thermal management applications. Naeco is also a world class supplier of turbo machinery and large cold plates for radar.

Due to further company growth, we are seeking a highly skilled CNC machinists for our milling cells. Your duties will be to setup, prove and run a variety of CNC machines, supervise TA’s, produce and follow workshop documentation, help research and prove new tooling, fixturing and machining techniques.

You be must motivated with a positive attitude, be able to problem solve,



take ownership and make decisions. Career advancement and training will be available for the right candidates.

Applicants will have to be:

- Fully trade qualified.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Able to program at the machine.
- Inspect parts to a high standard against 3d models and 2d drawings.
- Experience on 4 axis horizontal machining centres an advantage.
- Experience on 5 axis machining centres an advantage.
- Knowledge of Mastercam an advantage.
- Experience with “one off” parts to high tolerances.
- Proof of rights to work in Australia. (Birth Cert, Visa, Citizenship or Passport – Essential)

CNC Machining Apprentices

Due to further company growth, we are seeking apprentices to join our manufacturing cells. We have openings in both the mechanical and the electrical and electronic engineering trade streams.

About the role

You will be trained on modern 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining centres alongside experienced cell leaders and machinists, working on precision components for radar, defence and aerospace programs. Your apprenticeship combines paid on the job training at our Capalaba facility with formal study through a registered training organisation.

- Learn to set up, prove and run CNC machining centres
- Read and work to engineering drawings and 3D models
- Inspect parts to a high standard using precision measuring equipment
- Learn tooling, fixturing and machining techniques
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
- Follow ISO and internal quality procedures

About you No prior experience is required. We are looking for attitude, reliability and a genuine interest in how things are made.

Quality Manager Naeco is a leading Australian manufacturer of advanced cooling systems and precision components, supplying the aerospace and defence sectors. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Quality Manager to take the lead in strengthening our quality systems and guiding the business towards AS9100 certification.

About the role

You will play a key leadership role in enhancing our ISO 9001 certified quality management system and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the business. A central focus will be preparing Naeco for AS9100 certification, managing the implementation process, aligning documentation and ensuring compliance across operations. You will work closely with engineering, production and leadership to ensure quality is integrated at every level.

- Lead the implementation and certification process for AS9100 while maintaining our ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Manage and improve the QMS and related procedures and documentation
- Oversee internal audits, supplier audits and external certification audits
- Investigate and respond to non-conformances, customer complaints and quality incidents
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Engage with customers to understand and resolve quality concerns
- Develop and deliver quality training to staff
- Drive improvements in DIFOT and overall customer satisfaction
- Monitor quality metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives

About you

- Proven experience in quality management, ideally in aerospace, defence, manufacturing or precision engineering
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100
- Technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering highly desirable
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence across all levels
- Detail oriented and systems focused, with a drive to lead change and improve outcomes
- Strong applied understanding of MRP systems for manufacturing, assembly of products and traceability
- Practical knowledge of first article inspections aligned to AS9102
