We seek an experienced Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join a not-for-profit, community-based sessional kindergarten on a full-time basis.

- Pay aligned with VECTEA, including approximately 11 weeks of paid school holidays per year
- 30 contact hours and 7.5 hours per week of dedicated planning time

This is a unique opportunity to work at a kindergarten that actively connects children to their local environment through regular excursions and community engagement. Local schools, supermarkets and shops are all within walking distance.

This is a full-time role across two programs, supporting a play-based approach that is nurturing, engaging and responsive to children's interests and development.

You will work across two groups,



supporting experienced teaching teams to deliver a program aligned with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.

About you:

You are a Diploma-qualified educator who brings reliability, professionalism and confidence in your communication. You are comfortable using technology to document children's learning and contribute to programming, and you take pride in supporting a calm, engaging learning environment. You are genuinely passionate about early childhood education, work collaboratively as part of a team, and are proactive in contributing ideas and supporting positive outcomes for children.

Requirements:

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
- Minimum two years of experience as an Educator, ideally within a sessional kindergarten setting
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Child protection / mandatory reporting and Gecko certification
- Sound understanding of the NQF, VEYLDF and Child Protected Standards
