Bond-Eye Swim Group is home to two Australian swimwear brands with genuine international pull and we are in the middle of the most important shift in our history: from a wholesale-led business to a direct-to-consumer-first one. This role sits at the centre of that shift.
TWO BRANDS, TWO DISTINCT CUSTOMERS
Bond-Eye is the Bondi Beach lifestyle, made global. Known for its signature crinkle fabric and easy, size-inclusive fit, it has built a following well beyond Australia: stocked by Revolve, Everything But Water and The Iconic, with our own stores on Bondi Beach and Bleecker Street New York and a loyal customer base across Australia and the United States.
Sea Level designs for the woman who knows exactly who she is. Sitting in the space between high-fashion and technical swim, it pairs considered design with fabrics and construction that sculpt and support. Its customer buys by collection and returns for more, making it one of the most exciting growth stories in Australian swim, online and in the US.
THE ROLE
We partner with a specialist growth agency that manages performance marketing down to margin and inventory at a style level. Our internal teams are building fast, but they are still stretched across a business that remains predominantly wholesale. Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, you are the bridge. You make sure our growth agency has the product, stock, creative and decisions it needs, when it needs them, across both brands and you make sure our internal teams understand the full-funnel creative demands of a rapidly growing digital business.
The brand teams remain custodians of each brand and set creative direction and guardrails. Within those guardrails, you approve always-on and performance creative with our growth agency, so good ideas reach market at speed rather than waiting in a queue.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
The growth partnership with our external agency
- Be the primary day-to-day counterpart across both brands: brief, prioritise, unblock and follow through.
- Secure the creative the full funnel needs, from brand-team assets to agency-produced and partner content and sign off performance creative within agreed guardrails.
- Challenge recommendations on commercial grounds and hold the partnership to profit, not channel activity alone.
Style rollout and stock
- Lead the style rollout for each brand: which styles go to market each week, the units required to support them and the full-funnel creative assets needed to hit sales and margin targets.
- Work with Planning and Wholesale on the total available-to-sell position, so media sits behind what we can supply and pulls back where we can't.
- Use social and digital demand signals to flag winners, recut growth candidates and exit slow sellers early, and feed them into promotional and markdown planning in step with our wholesale commitments.
Calendar and campaigns
- Lead the digital calendar for both brands, aligned with the brand, wholesale and trading calendars.
- Sequence paid, email, SMS, organic and site merchandising so launches, capsules and key trading moments land as one.
- Coordinate content shoots with brand teams and content partners, to the agreed creative direction.
Performance and reporting
- Track MER, contribution, CAC, ROAS, conversion and retention by brand and market, and act when they move.
- Turn agency and channel reporting into one explicit weekly view: what's working, what isn't, and what we do next.
- Manage media spend against budget, with authority to reallocate between styles and channels (within agreed limits).
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
In your first 90 days:
Our growth agency has one empowered point of contact and creative approvals turn around in days, not weeks; a working style rollout is in place for each brand, built on the total available-to-sell position; and leadership trusts a single weekly performance view.
In your first year: DTC revenue and contribution are growing against target for each brand; MER and blended CAC are on target; creative volume keeps pace with the growth plan; and no launch day is lost for want of creative, stock or sign-off.
ABOUT YOU
You have three to five years in DTC-first e-commerce or digital marketing, ideally in fashion, swim or premium lifestyle and you are ready for a role with real scope to grow. You are as comfortable in a Shopify dashboard as in a creative review and you can hold your own with a sophisticated agency while helping a growing internal team get up to speed. You are:
- Commercially sharp: you think in margin, stock and contribution, not just ROAS.
- Creatively fluent: you know great brand content when you see it, and why some of it converts and some doesn't.
- Multi-brand minded: you can hold two brands and two customers in your head without blurring them.
- Decisive: you would rather ship, learn and adjust than polish and wait.
- A translator: equally at ease with creative, commercial and technical people.
- Hands-on with the stack: Shopify, Meta, Google Ads, GA4 and Klaviyo, and curious about AI tools that help small teams move faster.
Experience with US customers or international DTC is a strong advantage.
WHY JOIN US
Few roles at this level offer this combination: two brands with real international equity, a business committed to a DTC-first future, a best-in-class agency partner to learn from and lead and the chance to shape how a growing team works. If you want your fingerprints on the next chapter of two Australian brands going global, we would love to hear from you.
