We're partnering with a large, complex organisation seeking an experienced Network Architect to provide architectural leadership across a significant infrastructure transformation and redevelopment program.

Working alongside delivery partners, vendors and systems integrators, you'll provide hands‑on architectural oversight and assurance across the network environment, ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient and fit for purpose.

This is initial 12 month FTC with a significant (3-5 years) program of work following on.

Network Architect n

Working alongside delivery partners, vendors and systems integrators, you'll provide hands‑on architectural oversight and assurance across the network environment, ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient and fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Provide architectural oversight and assurance across the design and delivery of a complex enterprise network environment.
n
- Work closely with systems integrators, delivery partners and key technical stakeholders throughout the program.
n
- Review proposed network designs, challenge where appropriate, and recommend practical alternative approaches.
n
- Provide technical direction across enterprise networking, Wi‑Fi,



firewalls and network security.
n
- Guide the use of software‑defined networking, segmentation and micro‑segmentation, assessing the perks and trade‑offs of different approaches.
n
- Ensure network solutions meet business, operational, performance and security requirements.
n
- Provide pragmatic, real‑world architectural guidance rather than purely high‑level conceptual design.
n

About you n

You’ll be an experienced Network Architect with a strong background designing and delivering networks within large, complex enterprise environments.

n

Ideally, you’ll bring:

n

n
- Strong Cisco networking architecture and design experience.
n
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise Wi‑Fi, particularly within environments where wireless connectivity is business critical.
n
- Experience across firewalls, SDN, network segmentation and micro‑segmentation.
n
- Experience designing networks for highly complex, critical or regulated environments.
n
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to challenge designs and influence technical direction.
n
- The ability to translate architectural principles into practical, deliverable solutions.
n
- Experience within clinical, aged care, health care, or similarly complex operational environments would be highly regarded.
n
