About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable, reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies and assist with financial reporting. You will also respond to enquiries from across the business and support audits and other finance activities.

You will bring experience in an accounting or finance role, confidence using Excel and Xero, and a sound understanding of accounting principles. Clear communication, accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and review financial transactions, with a particular focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable, to ensure records are accurate and up to date.
- Reconcile accounts regularly, investigate discrepancies and help resolve them promptly.




- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules.
- Respond to finance-related enquiries from internal stakeholders and provide clear, accurate information.
- Support audits, financial analysis and other finance team activities as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and take a proactive approach to improving day-to-day processes.

About You

- Reliability and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to analyse financial information and resolve discrepancies.
- A collaborative, positive approach and a willingness to take initiative.
- An interest in developing a career in finance.
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xero.
- A sound understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
