Three Recruitment is a boutique IT and technology recruitment agency based in Brisbane. We place technology professionals with enterprise, government and professional services clients across Queensland and Australia. The role

We're looking for an experienced Principal Recruitment Consultant to handle the full recruitment process for a portfolio of key IT clients. This is a senior, full‑time position based in our Brisbane office. You'll bring in revenue yourself and also help shape the way the business grows.

Key duties and responsibilities

- Manage the full recruitment process for permanent and contract IT roles, from taking the brief to placing the candidate. This covers sourcing, screening, interviewing, shortlisting, reference checks, offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Build and look after relationships with key enterprise clients, and act as their trusted adviser on hiring strategy, market conditions and salary benchmarks.
- Find new business by identifying and bringing on new clients and growing the work we do with existing accounts.
- Source hard‑to‑find technology talent through headhunting, networking, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter and our own database, and keep an active pipeline of candidates.




- Keep the CRM/ATS accurate and up to date, report on your pipeline and billings, and make sure we meet compliance and privacy obligations.
- Mentor junior consultants and help improve our recruitment processes and service delivery.

Skills and experience required

- At least [5] years' recruitment agency experience, with a focus on IT and technology recruitment
- A proven record of consistent billings in permanent and/or contract recruitment
- Strong knowledge of the Australian IT market, including technology roles, skill sets and salary trends
- Experience managing key enterprise accounts and winning new business
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Confident using ATS/CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter and online sourcing tools
- A tertiary qualification in business, HR or a related field is desirable
