About the role

NQ Family Day Care is based in Edge Hill and our educators run their own businesses from home, but they are part of a connected team. We're looking for a Family Day Care Coordinator who can build relationships, celebrate excellent practice and offer practical support when things get tricky.

Our approach is simple: support and compliance go hand in hand. We value open communication, shared responsibility, respect and a healthy dose of fun. We want children to thrive, educators to feel confident, and everyone to feel they belong.

Key responsibilities

- Visit and mentor educators across our service area, from Weipa to Townsville and everywhere in between
- Support educators with planning, documentation, safe environments and quality improvement
- Build trusting relationships with children, families and educators




- Help deliver training, play sessions and opportunities for educators to connect
- Provide clear, respectful guidance on service expectations and compliance
- Notice the good work happening every day and help educators grow

About you

- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher
- Have experience in early childhood education and enjoy coaching others
- Can have honest conversations with warmth and confidence
- Are organised, approachable and willing to travel across North Queensland
- Believe a strong team can take its work seriously while still having fun together
