About the Opportunity We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Feed Mill Operator to join our team at Tong Park, QLD.

Reporting to the Feed Mill Manager, you will be responsible for safely monitoring and operating plant and equipment associated with stockfeed manufacturing while ensuring critical production, safety and quality targets are achieved.

This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys working with machinery, problem-solving and being part of a busy, supportive team.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Feed Mill Operator, your responsibilities will include:

- Operating and maintaining equipment associated with stockfeed production and raw material storage.
- Monitoring plant equipment and systems to minimise downtime.
- Identifying issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting plant operating parameters that are not meeting required targets.




- Undertaking basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs within your skill level.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the feed mill.
- Following FeedSafe requirements for the inspection, handling and storage of raw materials and finished feed.
- Following SOPs, work instructions and completing required records.
- Ensuring feed orders are manufactured accurately and within required production schedules.
- Following all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

About You We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and willing to learn.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in feed milling, manufacturing, agriculture, production or a similar hands-on environment – highly regarded.
- Basic machine operation experience.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to follow documented procedures and processes.
- Strong attention to safety, quality and hygiene.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable transport to and from Tong Park.
