Care Fast is looking for experienced female Disability Support Workers to join a carefully selected team supporting a young woman in a structured Supported Independent Living environment in Melbourne’s south-east.

This is a role for someone who can combine warmth and respect with calm boundaries, consistency and strong safety awareness. You will be supported by an established operational team and participant-specific training, with the prospect to build a stable, long-term roster.

About the role

· Provide person-centred support to a young female participant with complex behaviours of concern.

· Follow an established Behaviour Support Plan and implement authorised restrictive practices only as trained and directed.

· Support daily living, routines, choice and control, community participation and meaningful engagement.

· Work collaboratively in 1:1 and 2:1 support arrangements, including community access.

· Maintain calm, consistent boundaries and recognise early signs of escalation.

· Follow safety, incident, documentation and escalation procedures while protecting the participant’s dignity and rights.

· Availability across a 24/7 SIL roster will be valued. Local reliability and the ability to travel consistently to South-East Melbourne are important.

Essential requirements

· Relevant disability support experience, particularly with complex behaviours of concern.

· Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and other mandatory employment checks applicable to the role.

· Current First Aid/CPR and relevant qualifications/competencies for the duties performed.

· Ability and willingness to complete Care Rapid and participant-specific training, including BSP/restrictive-practice requirements.

· Current driver licence and capacity to meet the travel requirements of the roster.

· Professional written documentation and incident-reporting skills.
