About Revira Care Australia

Revira Care Australia is seeking an experienced and compassionate female Disability Support Worker who speaks Farsi to support a young adult participant in their family home and community.

The successful candidate will provide consistent, person-centred support and follow the participant’s Behaviour Support Plan (BSP) and individual support requirements.

About the Role The role will involve:

Providing 1:1 support in the participant’s family home and community.

Supporting the participant with regular ongoing shifts.

Following the participant’s Behaviour Support Plan and implementing recommended strategies consistently.

Supporting community participation, social engagement and daily activities.

Building a positive and trusting relationship with the participant and family.

Supporting independence and choice while maintaining safety and dignity.

Monitoring and reporting changes in behaviour, wellbeing or support needs.

Completing accurate progress/case notes and incident reports when required.

Working collaboratively with the participant, family, Support Coordinator and Revira Care team.

Maintaining skilled boundaries, confidentiality and participant privacy.

Essential Requirements

Female Disability Support Worker.

Fluent Farsi-speaking skills – essential.





Previous experience working with young adults with disability.

Experience supporting participants with behaviours of concern and/or implementing Behaviour Support Plans is highly desirable.

Minimum 2 years' experience in disability support or a similar role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Reliable, patient, caring and confident.

Ability to work independently and as part of a support team.

Understanding of person-centred support and participant choice.

Required Certifications & Checks

Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain as applicable:

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

First Aid Certificate

CPR Certificate

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent qualification – highly desirable/required based on role requirements

NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You

Any other training required for the participant's specific support needs

Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle – highly desirable for community access
