Armistead Fencing

Armistead Fencing is growing and we’re currently looking for a few reliable and hardworking people to join our team across several different positions.

We have opportunities involving temporary fencing, permanent fencing and general yard work, with roles suited to different levels of experience. Some positions will be more site-based, while others may involve yard work, loading, deliveries and general labouring.

Duties may include

- Installing and removing temporary fencing
- Assisting with permanent fencing installations
- Loading and unloading fencing materials
- General yard work and keeping materials organised
- Using hand and power tools
- Assisting fencing crews with day-to-day site work
- Driving and deliveries depending on licence and experience

We’re particularly interested in applicants with a current White Card and MR or HR licence, however we will still consider the right people without an MR or HR licence. Previous fencing, construction or labouring experience is an advantage, but attitude, reliability and willingness to work are just as important.



You must be physically fit, comfortable working outdoors and willing to help wherever required.

Pay will be around $38 per hour, depending on experience, licences and the position, plus super.

Positions will initially be offered on a casual basis, with opportunities to advance within the business for people who show initiative, reliability and a strong work ethic. There will also be opportunities to earn additional money for taking on extra responsibility, putting in extra effort and stepping up when required.

For the right people, there may also be options to move into different employment arrangements in the future.

Successful applicants will be asked to meet with us before commencement, with an initial 3-month probationary period to make sure the role is a positive fit for both sides.

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
