We're seeking an experienced Field HSE Advisor - Operations to join our People, Culture & Safety team in Queensland. This is a hands-on, field-focused role where you'll work closely with operational teams, providing practical health, safety and environmental support across a diverse range of sites throughout Australia.

About the Role

As the Field HSE Advisor, you'll be the frontline HSE partner for our Operations team, helping drive a strong safety culture and ensuring our people have the support, coaching and systems they need to work safely and effectively. You'll regularly engage with site personnel, customers and leaders to promote risk management, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. This role includes frequent travel to operational, remote and FIFO sites across Australia to support business objectives and provide direct field-based HSE guidance.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide practical HSE advice, coaching and support to operational teams.
- Lead and participate in site inspections, audits, observations and risk assessments.
- Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions and prevention initiatives.
- Support compliance with WHS and P&G; legislation, client requirements and internal HSEQ management systems.
- Develop and improve safe work procedures,



risk controls and HSE documentation.
- Build strong relationships with clients and site representatives on HSE matters.
- Deliver HSE training and contribute to workforce competency development.
- Coordinate inductions, onboarding and training compliance activities.
- Support injury management activities, including Return to Work coordination.
- Assist with Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) testing processes.
- Contribute to continual improvement initiatives and a positive safety culture across the business.

What You'll Bring

Essential

- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
- Current First Aid qualification.
- Extensive field-based HSE experience within FIFO, mining, resources or similarly high-risk environments.
- Strong understanding and practical application of WHS legislation and risk management principles.
- Experience developing safe work procedures and high-risk work documentation.
- Incident investigation experience (ICAM, TapRooT or similar methodologies).
- Experience managing hazardous chemical systems such as Chemwatch or ChemAlert.
- Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.

Highly Regarded





- Trade qualification or significant hands-on operational experience.
- Diploma of Work Health and Safety.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- White Card and High-Risk Work Licences.
- Water industry experience.
- Experience with behavioural-based safety programs and HSE management systems.
