About the role

Total Water Management is seeking experienced FIFO Excavator Operators and Polywelders to join our Projects Team on a contract basis. These are fly-in, fly-out positions from Brisbane for a remote site based in Anatye, NT approximately 380kms from Alice Springs, offering the opportunity to work on a large HDPE Pipeline project. Operators will be responsible for operating 20t and 30t CAT Excavators and Polywelders will be operating the new i series McElroy machines performing polywelding tasks in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

These roles are integral to our project, directly contributing to project timelines and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

- Operate excavators and related heavy earthmoving equipment safely and efficiently according to site specifications and project requirements
- Perform polywelding on McElroy welders with a minimum of 12 months experience using McElroy Tracstar machines and work to required standards and specifications
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and maintenance checks on your equipment
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment utilisation
- Adhere to all site safety protocols, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Respond promptly to changing site conditions and project requirements

What we're looking for

- 8 x Experienced excavator operators with current license or equivalent qualification
- 8 x Experienced Polywelding Technicians with previous McElroy Experience and Current polywelding certification
- 4 x Experienced Pipeline Labourers - Loader ticket advantageous
- Queensland Coal or Rail Medical accepted along with Construction White Card
- Demonstrated experience in polywelding with McElroy Tracstars and data loggers
- Knowledge of site safety standards,



including familiarity with mining safety regulations
- Ability to work effectively in remote, FIFO arrangements - 14/14 Day Shift - DRY Camp and Non Smoking site except designated areas.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical fitness and ability to work in varied weather conditions
- Willingness to undertake site-specific induction and training as required
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
