Are you a Finance qualified who enjoys working on projects, systems and process improvement rather than just the day-to-day transactional side of Finance?

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Analyst to join a well-established organisation on an initial 6 month contract. This is an opportunity to step into a role where you will have genuine involvement in improving the way the Finance function operates, working closely with Finance stakeholders, IT teams and external vendors.

The role will suit someone who understands Finance but also enjoys getting into the detail of how systems work, how processes can be improved and how technology can make Finance teams more efficient.

You will be involved in a range of project-based initiatives, helping to understand business requirements, identify process improvements, coordinate with stakeholders and support the delivery of system and process changes.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone looking to move further into the Finance Systems / Business Analysis space, or for an experienced Finance Business Analyst who enjoys working across both Finance and IT.

The Role

This 6****month contract will be suitable for animmediately available or soon to be immediately available Finance Business Analyst, who will report directly to the Financial Controller. This role has the potential to be extended.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Work closely with Finance and IT teams on a range of projects and improvement initiatives
- Act as the key link between Finance stakeholders, technical teams and external vendors
- Review existing finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Gather and document business requirements
- Assist with system improvements, testing and implementation




- Analyse processes and workflows to identify efficiencies and potential automation opportunities
- Work with stakeholders to understand issues and develop practical solutions
- Support project delivery from requirements gathering through to implementation
- Assist with change management and ensure new processes and systems meet business requirements
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting across finance systems and processes

Skills and Experience

- Previous experience as a Finance Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Finance Systems Analyst or similar
- Strong understanding of Finance processes and how they interact with technology
- Experience working across Finance and IT projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable working with external vendors and technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with process improvement, systems implementation or optimisation
- Able to understand complex requirements and translate them into practical solutions
