Your new roleReporting directly to the Finance & Operations Manager, this is a hands-on and varied position suitable for an experienced Finance Officer or Assistant Accountant who enjoys working autonomously in a small team workplace.

Key responsibilities include

- End-to-end Accounts Payable processing
- End to end Accounts Receivable management and invoicing
- Payroll processing and payroll administration
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end reporting and finance administration
- Supporting audits and maintaining financial records
- Contributing to process improvements across finance operations
- Providing general finance and operational support as required





What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant or similar position
- Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Payroll processing experience
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using ELMO or similar payroll systems will be highly regarded
- Experience within healthcare, research, not-for-profit or related sectors will be advantageous
