The opportunity

IFYS is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Manager to lead governance, administration, optimisation and continuous improvement of IFYS’ finance systems and associated process.

Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Finance and Information Technology teams, and key stakeholders, the role will ensure the integrity, accuracy and efficiency of financial data, reporting and system interfaces across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure appropriate governance, security and data integrity across finance systems,



including compliance with organisational policies, audit requirements and delegated authority frameworks
- Partner with ITC and other stakeholders to maintain and optimise financial system integration and data interfaces, ensuring integrity, accuracy and reliability of financial information
- Provide training, guidance and support to the Finance team and business units to promote effective and consistent use of finance systems, proc ess and procedures
- Investigate and resolve finance system issues, error and data discrepancies, working with internal and external stakeholders to implement solutions
- Respond to finance system enquiries and support requests, ensuring timely resolution and a high standard of service
- Manage the delivery of finance systems projects and initiatives, including but not limited to business analysis, vendor evaluation, business case development, procurement and contract approvals, and implementation planning, testing, and post-implementation review

Requirements of the role

- CPA or CA qualification, with strong technical accounting knowledge
- Experience in financial systems maintenance and administration – with Tech One experience desirable
- Experience in a senior accounting, finance or related professional role
- Business analysis experience,



with the ability to identify improvement opportunities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Must hold or be willing to obtain if successful

- Valid Queensland Driver’s Licence with no restrictions
- Queensland Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
- Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)
- Ability to provide to references from recent employers (including your current line manager)
- National Crime Check (a new crime check will be completed through IFYS systems)
